- String Ensemble Grade 1 - Grade 2 LevelLevel 2
A peaceful Moorish inspired melody with a medatative pizzicato accompaniment.
This is the easiest piece in the Biscuit Suite.
The Violin 1 holds the melody throughout and the Violin 2/3 part reinforces this with a simple pattern to strengthen 3rd finger on G.
The lower strings begin with a repetitive pizzicato pattern and remain pizz throughout.
This arrangement also works well as a 4 part piece or string quartet - omitting the piano and double bass parts.
Instrumentation violin 1, violin 2, viola, cello, bass, piano
